The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, said that with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, they had mainly discussed the new growth plan for the European Balkans.
Osmani said in a joint press conference that today's meeting focused on the new growth plan for the Western Balkans, which was presented by President von der Leyen, which he called an important step towards our integration into the common European market.
" This plan foresees the support of the European Union through the increase of financial assistance for the reforms that must be undertaken in the integration process ", said the president.
The President of the European Commission, Ursula Von Der Leyen, has arrived in Kosovo, as part of her Balkan tour. She was received by the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani.
During her visit to Pristina, Von der Leyen will also hold a meeting with the Prime Minister, Albin Kurti.
While the meeting with Prime Minister Kurti will be held around 2:40 p.m., it was announced in the press release from the Prime Minister's Office.
