The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, does not exclude the possibility of a new Serbian attack on the territory of Kosovo. He says that "we cannot exclude the possibility of an attack because it does not depend on us".
This is what Kurti declared in an interview given to the German Stern, when he was asked if another war in Kosovo is possible.
"We have an aggressive neighbor who does not accept us. We cannot exclude the possibility of an attack because it is not up to us. But we remain vigilant and supported by our troops and those of our NATO allies, who have stepped up their support since the September attacks to ensure the security of our country."
"In addition, we meet the defense standard of two percent of GDP by investing in the military. If there is democracy, elected leaders must be held accountable for their actions. This leads to predictability. But dictatorship carries risks. One wonders what one day Vucic will order his police and army".
"We constantly feel Serbian aggression: they have 48 advanced military and gendarmerie bases across Kosovo - in the shape of a horseshoe", emphasized Kurti.
