Maybe you like having Pristina in the Council of Europe more than Belgrade and Serbia.
The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, has continued with threats to the EU, saying that he will expel Serbia from the Council of Europe, if Kosovo joins.
During an interview on Serbian television, 'TV Prva', he said that Kosovo will most likely be accepted into the Council of Europe soon. Vucic added that after this, one of the possibilities is for Serbia to leave the EC.
" You accept Kosovo and then you will see if Serbia will remain in the Council of Europe or not. We will see. Maybe you like to have Pristina in the Council of Europe more than Belgrade and Serbia ", said Vucic.
He added that the EU will expel Serbia the same as Russia, and according to him, the fact that Kosovo can be accepted into the EC means that they want to expel Serbia.
" In this country, when you talk about democracy, you can watch all the televisions here and where else in the world you have this and everyone will talk to us about democracy. That organization does not decide on anything. One option is to get out. They expelled Russia and this de facto would be the expulsion of Serbia ", Vučić emphasized.
For weeks, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has launched a campaign of pressure on the USA and the EU, forcing them to choose between it and Kosovo.
We recall that last week Vucic issued a threat to the West, during a meeting with Patriarch Profirije and the president of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik.
During the event, Vucic issued an ultimatum to the West, asking them to choose between Kosovo and Serbia, even threatening war if they chose Pristina.
" If they choose Kosovo, Serbia will wait for the best possible moment and use the opportunity to act ," said Vucic.
At a time when the dialogue with Kosovo has stalled and Kurti is not obeying the internationals, Vucic has apparently changed his tactics and is returning to the side that puts pressure on the internationals and not the other way around./ Pamphlet
