After the USA and Britain, Germany gave an ultimatum to Vucic: Immediately release the policemen of Kosovo

After the United States of America and Britain, there has been a strong reaction from Germany for the kidnapping of 3 police officers in the north of Kosovo.

The German Minister of Foreign Affairs, Annalenna Baerbock, has called on the governments of Kosovo and Serbia to ease the situation created recently in the border area between the two countries.

"We ask both sides to immediately do what is possible to de-escalate the situation," Baerbock said in a meeting with her counterpart from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Dino Konakovic, on Friday in Berlin. "One of the first steps is the immediate release of the policemen from Kosovo", she added.

Baerbock further said that governments should do this for their citizens: "It is not an obligation to Brussels or Berlin, but to the people in both countries".
