The Minister of the Interior, Xelal Sveçla, announced that one of the criminals suspected of the attack on journalists on May 29, was arrested today.
Sveçla said that the arrested person is Nemanja Vlaskovic and the same is suspected of the attack on the journalists of the Kallxo medium.
He said that there will be no compromise with the criminals, as he added that all those who have committed attacks will be held accountable.
" One of the leaders of the group that attacked the journalists of the Kallxo medium in Leposaviq on May 29, has just been arrested. Nemanja Vlaskovic will face justice for the attacks committed against our journalists. All attackers and criminals will be brought to justice, there is no alternative. We continue, dedicated, for uncompromising justice against the fascist militia" , the minister announced.
The Kosovo Police has also announced this arrest, where it is said that the suspect had attacked journalists and several media outlets on May 29.
" As a result of the work and intensive investigations of the police units, it has been possible to identify a suspect who, on May 29, 2023 in Leposaviq, had attacked the journalists of several mediums. After securing evidence and identifying the suspect (Serbian male), he was arrested today in the afternoon in Leposaviq and then escorted to the police station for interview and further police procedures. All further actions will be taken in cooperation and coordination with the justice bodies", says the announcement of the Kosovo Police.
The Kosovo Police says that it remains committed to the realization of its legal and constitutional duties, to maintaining order and public safety, to the rule of law and bringing before the justice bodies suspected persons who violate the order and the law . the notice says.
