The music museum in Gjakova was engulfed in fire. The reasons are not known, but the building built in such a way may have been completely destroyed.
Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Ali Tafarshiku, also wrote about this, blaming the mayor of Gjakova, Ardian Gjini.
The spokesperson of the Regional Directorate of the Kosovo Police in Gjakovë, Sheremet Elezaj, has stated that so far no injured people have been reported.
"Necessary police units have arrived at the scene, as well as the Fire Department, which are making efforts to localize the fire. There have been no reports of consequences in humans", said Elezaj.
The Municipality itself reacted by saying that many historical objects were saved in time.
"What happened tonight with the Tabhana facility is bad news for Gjakova, news that has shocked and outraged us all", says the reaction of the Municipality of Gjakova.
However, the municipality has shown caution, saying that they are waiting for the police investigation to understand the cause of the fire.
