The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, met with the adviser of the State Department, Derek Chollet and the American envoy for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, with whom she discussed the dialogue process.
The Presidency announced on Tuesday that according to Osmani, the success of the dialogue depends on the principled and equal approach to the full implementation of the Agreement.
According to Osmani, who is staying in New York for the UN summit, mutual recognition between Kosovo and Serbia is the key to concluding the dialogue.
"The success of the dialogue depends on the principled and equal approach to the full implementation of the agreement, but also on the commitment and leadership role of the US, which is the key to the successful conclusion of the dialogue and which would lead to mutual recognition" , it is stated in the announcement of the Presidency.
Furthermore, President Osmani expressed her gratitude for the continuous support of the USA and emphasized that Kosovo is interested in moving forward in the Euro-Atlantic journey, with support and coordination with allies.
