
Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani is in Istanbul, where she met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Through a post on the "X" platform, Osmani writes that he has expressed gratitude to Turkey for its commitment to the security of the region.
"Today in Istanbul I met President Erdogan. In light of recent security developments, I expressed our gratitude for Turkey's support and commitment to peace and security in our region. We are committed to continuing to strengthen the cooperation between our countries", writes Osmani.

Meanwhile, Osmani added on the Facebook platform that he has informed Erdogan about the latest developments in the region.
"I thanked him for his strong support for Kosovo, including in difficult and challenging periods for us, and I informed him about the latest developments in our country. We will continue to work closely in order to increase the cooperation between our countries and our peoples", said Osmani.
