Here are the results in the main municipalities of Kosovo...
Unlike the general elections, Kosovo has moved at a fast pace when it comes to counting votes for local elections. The count closed in most municipalities around midnight.
Today, citizens voted for leaders in 38 municipalities and, based on the results, a large portion of municipalities will go to a runoff. It should be noted that Kosovo has a system in which the winner is declared the one who has over 50 percent of the votes. If no one achieves this, there is a second round between the 2 most voted candidates.
Pristina goes to the runoff, as well as Peja, Prizren, Suhareka, Gjakova, etc. In Pristina, there was a close race between Përparim Rama and Hajrulla Çeku.
While the municipalities with over 50 percent are Deçan where AAK won, Istog where LDK won, Kamenica where VV won, Leposaviq where Srpska Lista won, Ferizaj where PDK won, etc.
