Legendary singer Celine Dion surprised her fans during the holiday season with a humorous and self-deprecating video posted to Instagram. The iconic artist appeared transformed into a festive version of the famous "Grinch" character, bringing smiles and nostalgia to a period associated with warmth, reflection and family moments.
In the video, which immediately went viral, Celine Dion is seen sitting by a burning fireplace, holding a puppy in her arms, while singing the chorus of her immortal hit All by Myself. With a theatrical and humorous interpretation, she parodies the Grinch who "hates" Christmas, while simultaneously mocking her busy schedule.
"How dare those Whos. They call me at the last minute. Even if I wanted to go, my schedule wouldn't allow it," Dion says in the video, as she continues with an absurd and entertaining list of activities: "Four, I train my voice. 4:30, I wake my kids up. 5, I solve the problem of world hunger, I don't tell anyone. 6:30, dinner with myself, I can't cancel again! 7, I struggle with my creative ideas. I'm closed off!"
The moment culminates at the end of the video, where the singer closes with a message typical of her direct and charming style: "Sure, if I give my creative ideas at 9:00, I'll still have time to stay in bed and watch endless videos on TikTok. Or I can wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year."
