An ambitious initiative in Dubai aims to revolutionize the construction sector by creating a residence built exclusively through automated systems.
Dubai is taking another ambitious step towards the future of construction, unveiling a plan to create the world's first residential village to be built entirely using robotic and automated systems.
The initiative aims to demonstrate that robotic technology can be safely, consistently and efficiently applied to housing projects, transforming automation from an experimental practice into a key pillar of construction activity.
According to information published by Interesting Engineering, the project will involve more than 25 technology companies and academic institutions from around the world. The international consortium is being coordinated by the city of Dubai, with the participation of Zacua Ventures and Würth Group.
The main goal is the full automation of all stages of the construction process - from the production of structural elements to the final assembly, thus creating a unified, sustainable and scalable model for building houses. The official announcement was made in the context of the inauguration of the O4 ConTech Valley Center for Innovation and Research in Construction, in Expo City Dubai.
