Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio, in addition to joint films, are also known for their close friendship with each other.
Kate spoke in an interview about the roles she had together with Leonardo DiCaprio, who often had to play erotic scenes. She has expressed that their friendship was a help to play the intimate scenes perfectly, but at the same time it was awkward for her.
One of the most embarrassing moments that the actress has singled out was in a film directed by her husband at the time, in 2018, Sam Mendes. In this film, she had to perform erotic scenes with DiCaprio in front of her husband.
"But it was something that was done successfully and went very well," said Kate.
"Even for DiCaprio it was awkward, but he thinks that the friendship between us has helped to bring powerful emotional scenes to the public," she said.
The two actors first starred together as Jack and Rose in 1997's Titanic and later as husband and wife in 2008's Revolutionary Road.
