Emmy Award-winning producer Jeffrey Mark has made strong statements regarding the life of Michael Jackson , claiming that the legendary artist was a victim of sexual abuse during his childhood.
In an interview with the New York Post , Mark said that the traumatic experiences Jackson may have had at a young age later influenced the way he perceived relationships with children.
According to the producer, the singer did not consider himself an abusive person, as such behaviors, according to him, could have been normalized in the artist's mindset due to early traumas.
"Michael Jackson didn't see himself as someone who was committing abuse ," Mark claimed during the interview.
Michael Jackson has been at the center of controversy and accusations of sexual abuse of minors for years , accusations which he consistently denied while he was alive.
In 2005, the artist was found not guilty by the court after a highly publicized trial, where many of the witnesses testified that, on the contrary, Jackson had protected them.
