The viral video that revealed Astronomer CEO Andy Byron in an intimate embrace with HR chief Kristin Cabot during a Coldplay concert in Boston was filmed by Grace Springer, a 28-year-old from New Jersey.
Springer, a die-hard fan of the band, was at the concert with friends when a stadium camera focused on Byron and Cabot, hugging. The couple's immediate reaction — with the CEO hiding behind a barrier and Cabot covering his face in embarrassment — set the internet ablaze, causing the video to go viral.
In an interview with The Sun, Grace explained that she had no idea about the identities of the two people when she posted the footage:
"Part of me feels bad that the video turned their lives upside down, but when you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes."
Her video has garnered over 46 million views and nearly 5 million likes, sparking a wave of reactions and discussions online.
Despite the consequences for the people involved, Grace expressed hope for the CEO's wife:
