Trabzonspor coach Fatih Teke spoke after the 4-1 defeat to Galatasaray in the Turkish Super Cup. The Turkish coach was asked about the transfer market and expressed his anger regarding the demands of clubs for players who want to approach.
Teke mentioned the figure of 10 million euros. According to him, it is not reasonable for the transfer of a player to Trabzonspor.
Muçi is the attacking midfielder and the team's number 10. Teke meanwhile revealed that his desire is to have another number 10 in the team. This is the only way for the team to be complete even in case of injuries.
" We need at least two centre-backs. We have no alternatives for right and left-back. We also have a shortage on the wings. We need these urgently. If we had the money, I would like a midfielder and a number 10. If something happens to our players, we will have big shortages. This team is young and newly formed. Currently I also have players I want to leave. My focus on transfers is to take our game a step further.
We are in contact with the clubs of the players we like in terms of transfers, but the prices are not reasonable. We like the player, but they are asking for 10 million euros and this is not being done. We are left with temporary players and 3-5 months is not enough to make them complete.
"We need to get a complete player, but that seems difficult. If we don't manage to do that, we will face difficulties in every match. Even with the smallest injury... We already have injuries and deficiencies ," the Trabzonspor coach said about the transfer market.
