The return journey to Greece of the two injured PAOK fans began at 10:42 this morning, when the hospital plane of the Greek National Emergency Care and Rescue Center (EKAB) left the runway of Timisoara airport in Romania.

The third PAOK fan who is injured underwent surgery yesterday and was not recommended to move quickly.

20-year-old Konstantino and 28-year-old Mario are expected to arrive in Greece, and more specifically at Thessaloniki's 'Macedonia' airport, at around 1:00 p.m. today, where they will be picked up by ambulances to be taken to the city's hospitals.

The third injured person, 20-year-old Kosta, must stay in the Timisoara hospital for a while, and yesterday he underwent surgery.

This afternoon, a special flight will repatriate the bodies of the seven PAOK fans who lost their lives in the tragic accident in Romania on Tuesday afternoon. While the investigation by the Romanian authorities continues, critical questions remain unanswered regarding the exact causes of the accident. The injured and the bodies of the seven victims will be welcomed at Thessaloniki airport by organized PAOK fans.

On Tuesday afternoon, the black van in which PAOK fans were traveling from Thessaloniki to Lyon in France, collided head-on with a truck in the Timiș region of Romania, leaving behind seven victims, PAOK fans. Among them was Albanian Vasil Pilo. Among the injured is also a fan of Albanian origin, Genci Sadiku, but he may have two names, so he is not included in the names above.
