The star of France and Real Madrid, Kylian Mbappe is accused and even being investigated in Sweden for a possible rape during the past week. The Scandinavian media have confirmed the investigation, with the prosecutor not mentioning the name of the person under investigation, the case for which Mbappe is accused.
In relation to these accusations, the attacker's lawyer also reacted. Canu-Bernard emphasized that her client is never in situations that could expose him to danger and categorically excluded any possibility of "reprehensible behavior".
"He is never alone. He is never exposed to a situation where he can be endangered, so this excludes the possibility of him engaging in reprehensible behavior," she declared.
Canu-Bernard described Mbappe as "very calm" but also shocked by the media hype.
"He has no idea what he's accused of," she added, highlighting the player's confusion amid the ongoing speculation. The lawyer also addressed the possibility of Mbappe being called to testify before authorities in Stockholm, saying: "Of course he will appear."
On the other hand, Mbappe himself accused his former club PSG, with which he is in court and demands 55 million euros in damages, of fabricating such news to spoil his image.
