Arsenal took a heavy victory over Bournemouth earlier this year in the Premier League, as they defeated them 3-2, widening the gap with their rivals in the standings.
It was Bournemouth who took the lead in the 10th minute of the Evanilson challenge. Arsenal responded and 6 minutes later restored the balance in the score with a goal from Gabriel. In the following minutes, Bournemouth seemed somewhat more demanding, but the teams went into the break with the score 1-1.
At the start of the second half, Bournemouth had a chance to score with Brooks, but the latter proved inaccurate. Immediately after this moment, the “Gunners” punished their opponents, as in the 54th minute they scored the goal that turned the score to 2-1 in their favor with Declan Rice.
In the 71st minute, Rice made Arsenal fans celebrate again, as he scored the 3rd goal for the Londoners, completing his personal double. But the stories did not end there, as in the 81st minute, Bournemouth reopened the accounts, as they reduced the difference to 2-3 with the goal scored by Krupi. However, until the end of the match, Bournemouth could not do more and the challenge ended with the result 3-2 for Arsenal, which goes to the quota of 48 points, bringing the difference with Aston Villa to 6 points and currently to 7 with Manchester City.
