Bayern Munich suffered their first defeat of the 2025-2026 Bundesliga season, as they were beaten 1-2 by Augsburg in a match played at the Allianz Arena on Matchday 19. Hiroki Ito headed home a corner kick from Michael Oliseh in the 23rd minute. The first half ended 1-0 for Bayern.
In the 75th minute, the scene repeated itself, with Artur Chavez scoring with a header for Augsburg, following Komur's cross from a corner. In the 80th minute, Han-Noah Masengo scored the decisive goal for Augsburg.
Despite the loss, Bayern leads comfortably by 11 points over second-place chaser Borussia Dortmund, who play later.
Leverkusen returned to winning ways after two consecutive defeats. The “Aspirin” won 1-0 against Werder Bremen at the “BayArena” with Lukas’ goal in the 37th minute.
Hoffenheim won their third consecutive victory and are now in third place. The team, which features three Kosovo stars Albian Hajdari, Leon Avdullahu and Fisnk Asllani, won 1-3 away against Eintracht Frankfurt. Leipzig won 0-3 away against Heidenheim, Mainz won 3-1 at home against Wolfsburg.
