Theophilus Solomon is free and can join the Dukagjin team of Klina in Kosovo. The Nigerian attacker has been in a cell in Albania since February of this year after he was accused and then found guilty of "domestic violence" against his ex-girlfriend at the beginning of 2021.
At that time, the 28-year-old was part of Partizan and lived in Tirana, having open accounts with justice. At the beginning of February 2024, he was arrested, after he did not comply with the Court's decision that had released him on bail, by not appearing every two weeks at the Kosovo police.
The ordeal of punishment for the attacker began in 2023, when the Court of Tirana sentenced him to one and a half years of imprisonment, which was then converted to probation. Already after the criminal amnesty voted by the Albanian Parliament and approved by President Bajram Begaj, Solomon is among the 780 prisoners who benefit from freedom.
