With the initiative and support of the Albanian Football Federation, the exhibition on the life and career of the famous former Italian striker, Paolo Rossi, will be inaugurated on February 1.
After the great success in the first exhibitions in Rome, Milan, Florence, Turin, Trento, Rimini, Bologna, Belgrade, Venice and Zurich, the exhibition called "Paolo Rossi, a golden boy and football legend" arrives in Tirana. Thanks to the cooperation of the Albanian Football Federation, the government, the "Paolo Rossi" Foundation and the Italian Embassy in Albania, this important international event will be open for free to the public at the National Museum from February 1 to 24 in Tirana.
In the inauguration ceremony, which will take place in the premises of the National Museum on February 1 starting at 16:00, will be present the Prime Minister Edi Rama, the President of the AFL, Armand Duka, the Italian Ambassador to Albania, Fabrizio Buçi , Italian Football Federation President Gabriele Gravina, Paolo Rossi's wife Federica Cappelletti, former coach Arrigo Sacchi, famous ex-footballers Antonio Cabrini and Marco Tardelli also and the Israeli referee of the 1982 World Cup final, Italy-Brazil, Abraham Klein.
Albanian football personalities as well as representatives of various institutions will also be invited.
The exhibition spaces, which will chronologically describe the life and career of Paolo Rossi, have been realized thanks to significant investments for a very important project at the international level in terms of innovation and the construction of the exhibition on the life of a personage in the field of sport.
In particular, the exhibition will present through canvases, panels, prints, banners, flags, monitors, documents and photos a journey from the debut to the end of the Italian legend's career with over 500 unique relics including the most important trophies:
1- Golden Ball of 1982 from "France Football"
2- The Golden Shoe trophy for the best scorer of the World Cup "Spain 1982"
3- The Golden Ball trophy as the best player of the World Cup "Spain 1982"
4- "Spain 1982" World Cup final T-shirt
5- Shoes of the treble in the match against Brazil
The exhibition will also host a virtual reality project in its premises, which will give visitors the opportunity to relive the three goals against Brazil sitting in the stands of the old Sarrià stadium in Barcelona.
