The President of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka, has been elected a member of the FIFA Member Associations Committee for a four-year term.
After shaking hands with FIFA president Infantino, the Duke reacted via social media.
" I am honoured and deeply grateful for the trust placed in me by being elected as a member of the FIFA Member Associations Committee for the next four years.
"This is not just a personal assessment, but above all an important achievement for Albanian football and for our common journey ," Duka writes on social networks.
This committee aims to support member federations in their institutional and technical development, as well as in the implementation of football governance policies.
The election of President Duka to this structure constitutes an important assessment for Albanian football and for his many years of contribution to the international arena, where he has also been UEFA Vice-President, member of the UEFA Executive Committee and Chairman of the UEFA Media Committee for years.
