Elbasan narrowly defeated Laçi in the 31st week of the Super League. The Yellow-Blues were rewarded with an own goal by Shabani in the 39th minute to secure the victory.
On the other side, Laçi came close to equalizing several times, with numerous chances, but without success in the final meters.
With this success, Elbasan holds fifth place in the standings with 40 points and ends a series of three consecutive draws.
Laçi ranks sixth with 33 points, while sending them to a six-game winless streak in the championship.
