
The well-known Italian judge, Fabio Mareska, has become an international protagonist, as in the past few days he has performed an unusual action that could lead to his suspension. According to international media, he threatened a player of the Al Arabi club with his life on the field of play, while directing the championship match against Kuwait SC in the Kuwaiti championship.
The event took place on September 27, when during the match led by the Italian invited to distribute justice in the challenge between the two competing teams, he collided with the football player Khaled Al Murshed. The latter announced that the judge turned to him and told him "next time I'll kill you".
The event has brought many reactions in a short time. The first came from UEFA, which removed him from its list as the fourth referee for the Champions League match between PSV and Sporting Lisbon. But not only that, as in Italy they are getting ready to take measures against him. Mareska is expected to be suspended for a month from officiating Serie A matches.
