The Spanish rider of Ducati Pramac, Jorge Martin, won this afternoon the MotoGP sprint race held at the Jerez track (Spain). A race conditioned by many crashes, where the one of the last laps stands out, where 6 pilots saw themselves out of the race.
Among them was Marc Marquez, who was leading the race at that time. All these crashes were conditioned by the oil that was on the track, left there from the morning's tests, and the rain that fell afterwards had made the track slippery.
Even Martin, who started from seventh place and won this sprint race, was in danger of crashing, but managed to keep the engine and capitalized to the maximum on the mistakes of others. The other Spaniard Pedro Acosta (second with Tech3) and the Frenchman Fabio Quartararo (third with Yamaha) also climbed the podium.
The reigning world champion, Ducati's Italian, Francesco Bagnaia, also finished off the track, penalized after a contact with Binder, as a result, a total of 9 pilots did not finish the race, while Martin leads the ranking with 29 points advantage over his rivals.
