Goalkeeper of Albanian origin from Kosovo, Gentrit Muslija, has become the subject of discussion on social networks after a recent statement regarding his future in international football.
The 20-year-old, currently on loan at FC Uil 1900 in the Swiss second division, while his card belongs to the St. Gallen team, has spoken about his career goals and dreams.
In a statement to the media, Muslija spoke highly of Switzerland and Swiss football.
" I dream of playing for Bayern Munich and the Swiss national team ," declared the young goalkeeper.
This statement was not well received by some Albanian fans, who had hoped that he could represent Kosovo in the future.
Muslija made his debut with the Swiss U-21 national team in September 2025, giving clear signals about his orientation in the international arena.
