The Champions League detailed all the match days and times of the league stage, (formerly the group stage).
According to the new format, in the mini-championship with 36 teams, each club will play 8 matches, with different opponents. The first week of the league stage will be divided into three days, September 17, 18 and 19.
On September 17, at 6:45 p.m., two matches between Jang Boys-Aston Villa and Juventus-PSV Einthoven will be played. At 21:00 four more challenges are played, as the super duel between Milan and Liverpool in San Siro stands out, but also Real Madrid vs Stuttgart, Bayern-Dinamo Zagreb, and Sporting Lisbon-Lille.
On Wednesday, September 18, the calendar of the first week of the league phase continues with 6 more meetings where the most spectacular duel is the one at 21:00 between Manchester City and Inter.
The special feature of the first week of the league stage is that there will be matches on Thursday, September 19, unlike the tradition of the last decades where meetings were played on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. In the duels on September 19, Monaco-Barcelona and Atalanta-Arsenal stand out.
Continuing in the other weeks of the league stage in the Champions League, the Real Madrid-Milan matches on November 5 at 21:00 at "Santiago Bernabeu" or Inter-Bayern Munich on December 10 at "San Siro" stand out.
The match between Juventus and Manchester City on December 11 in Turin is also interesting. The matches of the league stage of the Champions League are played until January 30, 2025.
