" I am an active referee in Serie A, I have decided to speak because the anomalies of this system are very serious, which endanger the credibility of this sport that I love.
Why do I speak anonymously? Because I am still active and that there would be strong penalties from the association of referees that could seriously denigrate my career. This year there have been numerous mistakes both on the field and by VAR, mistakes that are inexplicable from our side as professionals.
With so many cameras, with so many clear images, how can you make a wrong decision, like the penalty that was denied to Bologna in the challenge with Juventus, or Pulisic's hand foul before the goal against Genoa, or Bastoni's foul on Duda in the Inter match - Verona.
In all these cases it is inexplicable how a referee can make a mistake on the field, but above all VAR ", said the regretful referee who added that VAR has clear rules when it should intervene and when not, but this senselessly does not apply.
The referee emphasized, among other things, that the images that VAR decides to convey to the public or even to the referees themselves are the plans that they decide to convey, to justify a decision or to bring confusion, that is, to manipulate opinion.
