KF Tirana is facing another serious blow, this time from FIFA, which has blocked the club's transfer market for the next three transfer windows due to unpaid debts to former players and former club officials.

According to a recent decision by world football's highest body, the white and blues have lost six legal cases related to unpaid wages and financial obligations. The situation comes at a difficult time for the capital club, which only in the final week of the championship managed to avoid an even more disappointing season.

FIFA's decision means that KF Tirana will not be able to register new players during the next three transfer windows unless it first settles all debts owed to its former employees. The former players and officials have chosen to approach FIFA to claim back payments, and the international body has ruled in their favor in all cases.

Sources close to FIFA indicate that one of the cases was decided on March 3 of this year, while another on May 8. Yesterday alone, the white-and-blue club received four more negative decisions, further deepening the financial crisis.

So far, the names of the former footballers or former officials who have won the lawsuits against the club have not been made public.

The case is considered unusual for Albanian football, as it had not previously been recorded that a club lost six trials at FIFA for unpaid financial obligations.
