Poland will face Albania in the play-off final on March 26, and after the draw, coach Jan Urban spoke. He, along with a delegation from the Polish Football Association, attended the ceremony at FIFA headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland.
" Of course, we can't complain. We are playing our first match at home against Albania and we are favorites. I'm not afraid to say that. " A lot of players play in the Italian league. Silvino is a player who comes from a technical background. That's how they play. We will analyse them. We have enough time for that. Four months in football is a long time. Neither I nor the other coaches know completely what players they will have available ," he adds.
He also didn't want to evade the answer regarding the second semi-final. Ukraine will play against Sweden, and if Poland wins their match, they will have to compete away in the final...
" It would have been a lot of luck. We could have had a worse result in that first semi-final. It would have been pure luck to play another game at home. We'll see who wins that second semi-final. Let's put it this way, if we want to go to the World Cup and play a good game there, we have to go there and win, no matter who we play against ," Urban admits.
