Thomas Strakosha is getting ready to change teams during the summer transfer window. The goalkeeper of the Albanian national team has spent two years practically outside the playing fields since he decided to say goodbye to Lazio, to join Brentford in England.
A choice that turned out to be completely wrong and that already makes the goalkeeper think about another destination, where he can be activated more regularly. And it seems that he has started talks with other clubs. "Gazzetta.gr" reports that the goalkeeper is in negotiations with AEK of Athens to move to the Greek Super League.
The well-known club is looking for a quality goalkeeper for the new edition where it aims to fight for the championship title and Strakosha is one of the alternatives. The goalkeeper seems to be open to this possibility, so negotiations between the parties have begun.
For Strakosha, this would be a return to Greece after 12 years. In 2012, he left Panionios' academy to join Lazio's, starting a long and highly successful spell with the Italian club.
