Albanian talent is declared champion, exceeding expectations, the 17-year-old writes history with the first team

The 17-year-old was part of the team that was declared champion of Australia. Memeti was approached by Melbourne City last summer, after being part of the youth team.

The first edition proved successful, winning the most important trophy. Memeti played in 21 matches in total, scoring five goals and assisting another.

He has only played for Australia at the youth level so far. His selection for the first team remains in doubt.
