On November 18, 2023, Switzerland was playing a match against Kosovo. Driton Sejdaj was at the stadium with his two sons, one 14 years old and the other 10 years old.

After Sejdaj went to buy drinks nearby at the stadium, his 10-year-old son took advantage of the opportunity, ran away from the security and went to Granit Xhaka. His goal was to get Xhaka's shirt, which he didn't achieve, but at least he took a photo with him.

The father of the minor said that the post office has sent him a penalty of over 2,500 francs, because his son had entered "illegally" in the green field.

Sejdaj said that the photo of his son with Xhaka remains a very good memory, and that he took the situation with sportsmanship, even though he considers that the punishment was slightly exaggerated.
