Manchester United are planning to open talks over the transfer of Felix Nmecha as part of their transfer plans for next season.
The team is currently fourth in the Premier League and is aiming to secure Champions League qualification. Michael Carrick took charge in January, following the departure of Ruben Amorim, and has recorded three wins and a draw in his last four games. His contract with the club runs until the summer of 2026.
The club are looking for a replacement for Casemiro, who is set to leave at the end of the season due to his contract expiring. The list of names linked with a move to Old Trafford includes Elliot Anderson, Carlos Baleba and Adam Wharton.
United are also reportedly in talks with the representatives of Felix Nmecha. The 25-year-old midfielder came through Manchester City's academy between 2007 and 2019, making three appearances for the first team. He moved to Wolfsburg in 2021 after failing to secure a new contract.
In 2023, Nmecha moved to Borussia Dortmund. With the German club, he scored 13 goals and provided 8 assists in 103 appearances. He contributed to the team's journey to the Champions League final in the 2023/24 season.
United are expected to clarify the midfield situation during the summer transfer window.
