The members of the General Electoral Assembly of the Albanian Football Association (AFHA) elect the President today, while there is only one candidate in the race: Armando Duka.
The latter is expected to receive his 7th consecutive mandate in a process that knows no rivals. The General Assembly meeting will start at 10:00 in the premises of the "House of Football".
The Duke has been proposed as a candidate by 33 members of the Assembly.
The election process will be conducted in full compliance with the statutory provisions and regulations in force.
Armando Duka has led the Albanian Football Federation since 2002, setting a record for the length of time he has held the position of President of the Football Federation.
In addition to the President, the members of the Assembly will also elect the members of the AFF Executive Committee for a four-year mandate.
The Commission found that 13 candidates for members of the AFF Executive Committee have received the two necessary proposals from members of the Assembly and meet the criteria to be officially part of the competition.
