Armando Duka has been confirmed as head of the Albanian Football Federation with 48 votes in favor from the 48 delegates who were at the General Electoral Assembly of the Albanian Football Federation.
The Duke has thus received his 7th consecutive mandate, becoming a "sultan" for the home of Albanian football.
In the elections for the head of the Albanian Football Federation, Duka had no rivals, which made the entire race seem predetermined. Duka's mandate at the head of the Albanian Football Federation will last 4 years, which means that the next elections in the Albanian Football Federation will be held in 2030.
Voting in the Assembly was open, as the Duke was the only candidate.
For the first time, Armand Duka was elected president of the Albanian Football Federation in 2002, setting a record not only in Albania, but also beyond, in terms of the years he has led the federation.
