Security expert, Faik Basha, stated in the studio of the Quo Vadis show that there is always a potential risk of terrorist acts, however, for Albania this risk remains very low.
He emphasized that the United States of America has always considered the fight against terrorism essential and that security mechanisms are focused precisely on preventing these threats.
However, according to Basha, the current situation in Iran is difficult and its structures are facing coordination problems.
In conclusion, the security expert assessed that the risk, not only for Albania, but also at a global level, currently remains very low.
"Iran has had the tendency to shift the developments of problems outside its territory. There has been strict monitoring of all Iranian activity. Is there a potential risk of a terrorist act? Of course there is. It is a risk that is not avoidable. The US has considered the fight against terrorism essential. Perhaps for Albania it is a very small risk, if not zero.
"In this situation that Iran is in today, it is very difficult, because they are not able to coordinate with each other. They have very low resources at these moments. It is not that danger in Albania, not that it is not, but even in the world it is very low," said Basha.
