Shemsi Prençi, former head of police, has stated that the criminal groups of Fier and Elbasan are the biggest and scariest in Albania.
Prençi made the comments on the show 'Now with Erla Mëhillin' on Euronews Albania, where he said that other criminal groups have learned from them.
He added that SPAK is on the right track in attacking these criminal groups, despite the fact that, according to him, it is being hindered by politics, which are involved with criminal groups.
According to Prenc, in the future there will be ministers and deputies who will fall into SPAK's net, as collaborators with organized crime.
" It's been about a year since we analyzed the metamorphosis, we analyzed the implications of politics, the Police, justice, the world of crime, structured criminal groups after the decryption of the Sky and Encrochat applications. It's just the beginning. The criminal groups of Elbasan and Fier are scary. They are very big. Initially, drugs in Albania were played by groups from Elbasan and Fier.
