GJKKO has left in prison the head of the Durres Anti-Drug Agency, Gazmir Preçi, who was arrested on the evening of August 15, 2024 after being accused of being part of a fine scheme against the owner of a night club at Ura e Dajlani.
According to the SPAK file, Gazmir Preçi demanded 20,000 euros from the owner of the night club, 'Night' at Ura e Dajlani in Durrës, with the threat that otherwise he would block his business.
According to the investigations, he managed to get 10,000 euros in the first phase, much of which was seized.
SPAK and AMP was aware of the moment when the first sum of 10,000 euros would be given out of 20,000 that was requested to the owner of the night club, 'Night' at Ura e Dajlani.
It is learned that the euros were registered with a serial number. As evidence for the court, film footage and environmental monitoring have been placed.
In today's court session, Gazmir Preçi took a negative stance.
"I didn't know that there was such a sum of money in the package," he said of the judge of GJKKO.
Preçi himself has asked for a softer security measure as he is the father of three children.
Many which were seized together with 2 mobile phones, from which it is expected to identify other potential employees involved in this event and other businesses that may have been a victim of the pressure of the anti-drug chief in the past.

Meanwhile, in 2021, when he was a crime boss in Mallakastra, he appears to have been under investigation for allowing the cultivation of cannabis near the Vjos River Bridge, in Počem, Mallakastra.
