Although investigative cooperation has improved, Albania needs to increase its efforts in developing a solid track record in investigative cooperation, by providing, inter alia, effective operational assistance to investigators from the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF), in order so that they can fully perform their duty in carrying out an on-the-spot check in accordance with Regulation (EU, Euratom) No. 883/2013 and Regulation (EC, Euratom) No. 2185/1996. Albania should also continue its efforts in developing a track record on reporting irregularities ," said the progress report for Albania.
