Shkëlqim Hajdari has resigned as Chief Inspector General, a position he assumed in 2016.
In a reaction made on social media, Hajdari writes that in these years of his work, he is happy that the legal reform in the field of inspections has been finalized.
He thanks all his staff and other institutions involved in this reform, which he describes as visionary according to the best inspection standards in the EU.
"Bac is done! I am deeply happy for the finalization of the legal reform in the field of inspections.
The results of this reform are the first 5 administrative measures, abolished in the complaints review commission, based on the law, objectivity and transparency, with representatives on the commission from the General Inspectorate, the Central Inspectorate that imposed the fine, the line Ministry, as well as representatives from business associations.
"From now on, be careful, because illegality, corruption, subjectivism and the unfair burden on honest business will end! Thanks and gratitude to all the staff of the General Inspectorate and other institutions involved in this tedious, difficult, but visionary reform according to the best standards of inspections in the EU," he wrote in a reaction on social networks.
