For 2 months, the residents of Kruja, Fushë-Kruja and Thumana have been protesting by blocking the Thumana-Kashar highway, as they demand entry and exit on this road.
The chairman of the DP-Euroatlantic Democrats Krujë branch, Sabah Sheta, has stated that the residents of Krujë and Fushë Krujë have fulfilled their request to have access to and exit from the Thumanë-Kashar highway.
Sheta says that after the meeting that the representation of the citizens of Kruja had with the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Transport Belinda Balluku, the government has accepted the request to have access to the Thumanë-Kashar road.
He thanks every resident who joined the protest and did not back down at any point until they won, albeit belatedly, the right they had been denied.
"Right delays, but triumphs. The government withdraws, the Krutans will have entry and exit on the axis of the Thumanë-Kashar road
Today is a marked day for the residents of Kruje Municipality. It came back thanks to co-resistance with my brothers from Kruja, Fushë-Kruja Nikla, Cudhia, Bubqi and Thumana. After a meeting we had as a representative of the citizens of Kruja with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Belinda Balluku, she accepted our fair and legitimate request to have access to the Thumane-Kashar road on behalf of the government. It became possible for the Albanian government to withdraw from the isolation they did to thousands of businesses and 85 thousand residents of Kruja.
Croatian brothers and sisters! This is not alms and a gift for us. It is a right denied by the executive, but already earned and why late, but it was our systematic protests, our resistance, the promise we made to each other not to take a single step behind, that enabled us to sit at the table today with Mrs. Balluku, from whom we received the promise that the citizens of the Kruja Municipality will be returned what they had; access (entrance and exit) to the new Thumanë-Kashar road.
In addition to thanking each and every one of you for joining us at each protest, I have an appreciation for what you did by leaving your day jobs to join this cause.
Dear brothers! Without you we would not have been able to reap this victory. We had made it clear that we would not withdraw, they heard it by voice and figure, they saw it through our acts, so today it was the Minister of Transport Balluku who "killed" the indifference by paying attention to this problem that caused social costs and economic because Kruja is also a touristic and historical area.
Appreciating the promise and decision of the Ministry of Transport to withdraw from their initial and stubborn attitude and provide a solution, giving the citizens of Kruja the opportunity to enter and exit the axis of the Thumanë-Kashar road, we have no choice. but we welcome this attitude and why delayed, but in the meantime we will monitor its implementation.
Brothers, once again, THANK YOU and THANK YOU for everyone! TOGETHER WE SUCCEEDED!", writes Sabah Sheta on "Facebook".
