Analyst Andi Bushati says that SPAK and GJKKO may have been put at the service of the government, but there is no evidence that casts a shadow of suspicion on them for corruption.
Speaking to the media, he said that as much as we can boast about the lack of corruption, we cannot say that they are independent.
" If I were to say one positive thing, for Dumani and in general for SPAK, unlike other parts of the judiciary, there have been no substantial accusations of corruption. There are some accusations from the opposition, but there is no concrete evidence that the processes are related to money. The lack of flagrant corruption of SPAK and GJKKO can be called positive. But we also had uncorrupted justice under communism. But were those judicial bodies independent? Absolutely not! We cannot label SPAK as corrupt, but as a lever in the service of political power. No matter how much we praise them for the lack of thievery, this is not enough to talk about independent justice ," he said in "MCN".
Bushati further said that the investigation against Mayor Veliaj is a spectacle of justice controlled by Rama.
" The useful idiots applaud today. They say: did you imagine that Veliaj would be in prison today? But what is Erion Veliaj being held in prison for today, he is being held for abusing his wife. So a man powerless to cope with his wife's vanity. Can we behave like the useful idiots who say that the end of impunity has come. We are dealing with a spectacle of justice. The Veliaj trial looks like a big blow from the form, but it is within the framework of this spectacle. If we compare it with the blows that Edi Rama is giving Veliaj from within the party, we understand that there is a synchronization. They are coordinated.
