For weeks, the residents of Rrjoll in Velipojë have been facing police violence, which has been deployed in defense of a property that was given to the oligarch Bashkim Ulaj, while the residents accuse the Government of having their property stolen using forged documents.
Residents, beyond the protests, have addressed open letters to the central institutions in the country, as well as to the Diplomatic Corps, while they have filed a complaint with both SPAK and the Shkodra Prosecutor's Office.
Meanwhile, dozens of police forces, equipped with spacesuits and shields, have been violently attacking residents for days as they protest to stop the works, while demanding that their ownership be recognized and compensation be paid.
Recently, Socialist MP Ermal Pacaj has also come out on the side of the residents of Rrjoll. Through a post on social networks, he has published a moment of violence against the residents of Rrjoll, which he considers an act of banditry and vandalism. The video shows police officers in uniforms raping citizens, including young people, women and the elderly.

These problems are not solved with violence and brutality, they are solved with justice and legitimate institutions, respecting the inalienable rights guaranteed to us by the Constitution! ", writes the SP MP.

Residents are protesting the construction permit for the "Blue Borgo" resort, a project being developed near Rana e Hedhun.
Despite the incidents and their police escorts, the residents have expressed their determination not to back down from their cause, demanding an immediate halt to the works. They have stated that they are not against the development, but they cannot accept the looting of their properties.
