Two employees of the Municipal Police in Tirana were physically assaulted by two people.
The incident occurred in the territory covered by Police Station No. 3 and was confirmed by an official announcement from the Tirana Police.
According to the police statement, following a report filed by the abused officers, two people have been declared wanted, identified as KC, 29 years old, and E. Gj., 39 years old. Both are suspected of having assaulted the municipality employees in the line of duty.
" The Tirana Police have announced the search for citizens KC, 29 years old, and E. Gj., 39 years old, as they are suspected of having struck two Municipal Police employees in the line of duty. Work continues to arrest them and fully clarify the circumstances of the incident ," the official announcement states.
No further details have been made public yet on the circumstances or motives of the incident, while investigations continue by specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of Commissariat No. 3.
