Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu has warned of dismissals within the government. He has stated that Prime Minister Rama has launched a "purge" process within the Socialist Party. According to him, Rama aims to remove any official who is subject to investigation or wiretapping by SPAK.
"Edi Rama is doing a kind of purge to remove every socialist who is part of the SPAK investigations. He is doing a project so that there are no more troubles that have caused major consequences to his associates who have been arrested and indicted. I think Rama is the first to have felt the cost that the SP has from several corruption issues that are today the subject of the SPAK investigation. The fact that the new parties did not join Rama showed that they are not with Rama.
