"Diaspora was prevented from voting", Source: Majority will maintain

Political analyst Genc Burimi has spoken about the political situation in the country. He has questioned the fairness of the recent elections in Albania.

The source stressed that the process was not equal and denounced the obstacles placed on the diaspora to exercise their right to vote. He compared the situation with similar practices in other European countries, while adding that the current majority has a strong intention to maintain power.

"The majority necessarily wants to hold on to power, this happens in many European countries. There are denunciations of electoral crimes in every corner of Europe. Sali Berisha is asking for normal things, what the youth in Serbia is asking for, but it doesn't work, because no one can force Rama. Sali Berisha exonerates Lulzim Basha. Berisha said that you have nothing to do in the face of a regime and it's unfortunate that Basha had nothing to do either. All parties said that equal elections were not held in Albania.

International institutions said it. I believe in the "Bulgarian train" and in our country. It has been applied in almost every country in Europe. Irregular elections have been held in Albania. In Albania, the process of counting votes and contestations is always a long agony. The diaspora was prevented from voting, because out of over 300 thousand people, very few voted. But the diaspora did not bring anything new to these elections", Burimi told "News 24".
