Zegjinë Çaushi experienced strong emotions after the vote recount in Fier, as within a few hours, she lost and regained her mandate as an MP, following the resignation of her colleague, Maldrita Bardho.
Analyst Andi Bushati commented on the "Zegjine" phenomenon on the show "The Unexposed" on MCN TV.
"Zegjine's case is not the personal fate of that woman. If you ask anyone who was involved in the campaign in Fier, they said it didn't even depend on Belinda, but it was Rama's order, you put this Gaz Bardhi because he cursed my brother.
What is the value of the recount? He (Rama) says he will resign and he does. With this autocratic manner, I saw a horrific scene in the municipality of Vlora. Those who claim that we live in a democracy, the local and central government are separated, the prime minister cannot go and dismiss the entire municipality and the mayor can sit like a puppet.
Why does massive theft continue at Bankers? Why does it continue especially with incinerators? Because in autocracy every control mechanism dies. You are making a one-man state, so that whoever has permission to steal, continues to steal, the incinerator and Patoz Marinza also happen. There is neither justice, nor SPAK, to investigate.
"The fact of Zegjine, which is a puppet piloted by Edi Rama, shows that the majority, hundreds of thousands of Albanians, behave like mini Zegjine, like puppets that serve the enrichment of a single person," Bushati said.
