Journalist Esmeralda Mulaj stated that the accusation on which the Special Court was raised was based on the claims of former neutral MEP Dick Marty about the "Yellow House", a facility where, according to him, the KLA carried out organ trafficking, but which was never found in the territory of northern Albania.
Mulaj stated that the fact that the Yellow House does not exist refutes the accusation and makes the trial of Hashim Thaçi and other leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army at the Specialist Chambers in The Hague unfair.
" For this issue, the Specialized Chambers were established, they were threatened that if Kosovo did not establish them, because today we hear all kinds of arguments, if Kosovo did not establish these Specialized Chambers, the UN would do it and then come and deal with Chinese, Russian judges, what the Security Council holds inside and it would go outside the jurisdiction of Kosovo. It could not control that Kosovo today, with a parliamentary meeting, even disbanded that court.
He has the authority to do this, but he doesn't do it and hasn't done it all this time because now there is no Parliament. But all that indictment of Dick Marty in that Council of Europe report on the Yellow House, organ trafficking was investigated by the Hague Tribunal, it was investigated by Williamson, Clint Williamson found nothing and today in the indictment against the leaders of the KLA it doesn't exist. So all that accusation on which this entire court was raised today doesn't even exist at all. It's even more shameful. Why did I take this as an example to understand what the accusation is, the continuation of the accusation. So, something that is built on a lie is certainly destined to also go into a lie because I remember that Latin expression: "Nothing comes from nothing". So these people have built a nothing and now they have taken some people there to smear me", Mulaj said on A2 CNN.
Further, she added that everyone should talk about the Albanian issue, and even invited political parties to be more committed to this.
"Today, what happened in parliament about my decision would be the honor of the Socialist Party to vote in favor of the genocide resolution and of course also to protest. I personally will be in protest because this is a national issue and this is an issue that unites us all ," Mulaj argued.
