BSH further emphasizes that since the Court of First Instance ordered the arrest of the partners of both companies at the request of the Prosecutor's Office, we are in the conditions where they no longer meet the criterion of high ethical reputation.
The Bank of Albania has revoked the licenses of two non-banking financial entities, namely the license of the company "Final" sh.pk and the company "Micro Credit Albania" sh.pk.
The licenses of both entities were suspended by decision no. 644, dated 6.2.2024, while today BSH took the decision to revoke their licenses.
In the BSH press release, published today on the official website, it is argued that the decision-making of the Bank of Albania is based on the legal and regulatory provisions in force that regulate the activity of non-bank financial entities, which foresee, among other things, the cases of revocations of licenses when the licensed entities no longer continue to meet the conditions on the basis of which they were licensed.
BSH further emphasizes that for the partners of both companies, given that the measure of arrest has been imposed by the Court of First Instance at the request of the Prosecutor's Office, we are in the conditions where they no longer meet the criterion of high ethical reputation, which among other things, it considers that the individual is not under criminal prosecution, in trial for criminal offenses and criminally convicted.
